This calendar is a collaboration of many hands at St. Francis of the Woods. It is dedicated to our wildcrafting teacher, friend, and mentor: Jackie Dill. Each month features an original drawing or painting of an Oklahoma plant that can be foraged that month, along with a recipe, other ways to use the plant, and tips for plant identification. 

 

The 2025 Oklahoma Wildcrafting Calendar features: Black Willow, Cottonwood, Woodear mushroom, American Field Pansy, Plantain, Purple Poppy Mallow, Buffalo currant, Purslane, Black Cherry, Pecan, Giant Puffball mushrooms, Eastern Redcedar.
